Noice History Narrative Useful Links Name Index

Welcome to the web site devoted to the history of the NOICE family,  this branch was first recorded in West Sussex, England, in 1687.  For about 200 years the family lived, worked and expanded in a small rural parish called Walberton. Then, because of a severe lack of employment in southern England in the 1830's five members emigrated to Canada and America.

This web site traces the history of the descendent of Edward Noice and Elizabeth Risbridger who were married in West Sussex in 1705.

You can read a short history on the web page called "History" or the full 20+ page story on the page called "Narrative".   You will  find an index of names and a page of useful genealogical links.

This is by no means the full story and I look forward to any additions you may be able to add.  I would like to thank all those you have contributed to the research.  They are too many to mention individually but I cannot fail to mention Benson Noice (Jnr) for all his work and for the copy of his 240 page book "A Personal and Documented History of the Noice Family", published in 1993.
